Where did the time go? I still can't believe that my little baby girl turned five years old! We are all so blessed to have her in our lives. She is maturing and growing up so fast and definitely is one special girl.
This special girl definitely deserves one special day. The theme this year was Disney's Micky and Mini Mouse, since we are heading to Disney Land tomorrow. ;)
She sure had a wonderful fun filled day. Thank you for all the gifts and warm birthday wishes. Now brace your self for many pictures. {grin}
She loved these pink cupcakes.
I decorated the cupcakes with handmade micky mouse faces. I also punched out about 50 mickys for confetti and decorated the table.
Yummy!
After fishing her cupcake someone was REALLY excited to open up presents.
I loved wrapping Lilly's presents and got a bit carried away... ;) {grin}
Lego's from Grandma. Check out Preston's expression on his face. He truly enjoyed watching his sister.
Oh, look at THAT face!
Back to the birthday girl. Here she is opening Auntie Lettie Mae's gift.
Oh my goodness, it's a hand made dress!
She had to wear it right away and LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
It fit perfectly. I still can't believe that my sister made this beautiful dress!
Even Taylor got to open a gift from Omi. German chocolate and a book mark. Cool!
My Mom also sent German candy for the family to share! :)
Look at all those gifts from Omi! Yay, a new German CD! And there was also more German candy! We will see how long that will last! hehe ;)
Lilly had many birthday wishes from family and friends.
Another cool gift! Auntie Geneva sent this dvd, stickers and candy.
Here a few gifts we gave her: A Paul frank sweater.
Hanna Montana stationary
Hanna Montana toothbrush and toothpaste
A Barbie outfit
Taylor's gifts to Lilly were these cute little animals, lip gloss and stickers.
Sea World Barbie
And this Barbie pool, which can be attached to the bathtub, has been on Lilly's wishlist for a pretty long time! Oh, it's so fun to be a little girl!
This has too be one of the cutest things ever. When I saw this on etsy I knew Lilly would LOVE it!
A little doll sling just like mommy's. I had it custom made in the same fabric as mine. I'll try to get around and post pictures of the two of us!
Of course Lilly got her baby doll right away and placed her into the sling.
How cute is that?
Lilly enjoying some of her chocolate!
The aftermath! (I just noticed the diaper in the right bottom corner on the floor! Real classy! haha! {grin}
Happy Birthday again to my beautiful baby girl. I love you forever.

1. The lack of posts lately definatly doesn't mean that we haven't been busy. (check "pic of day!) Just loving summer. I will try to check up over the weekend and post a few more pictures! ;)
2. The countdown is on. In less then three weeks Lilly turns five. FIVE, that is just crazy.
3. Speaking of my sweet baby girl! ;) Happy to report that she did such a great job getting her 5 year shots today. She was such a trooper. Thanks to those who prayed for her this morning.
4. After Preston's nap today we introduced him for the first time to rice cereal.
Taylor and Lilly loved feeding him.
He wasn't so sure about this...
...and after tasting it for a few seconds it was back out.
"Aaaahhhh"
Great job, little P. Tomorrow we will do it all over again. :)
5. Happy Friday everyone!

Since I have quite some pictures to upload, I am going to keep this sweet and short. I'd rather let the pictures do the talking anyways! ;)
We definitely had a great 4th. The kids started their day with a jump in the pool.
And while T and L were having a good time in the pool, Preston was playing in his stroller.
Ohh, how I love those chubby legs!
And look at those fingers grabbing for that toy!
Nap time was the perfect opportunity to spend time in the kitchen making chocolate strawberries for the get together in the afternoon.
I also filled up water balloon's. 47 to be exact! ;)
Then we headed down the street,...
...and the fun began!
Before we knew it, it was dinner time, so we bbq'd and after wards met friends for fellowship, food, fun, and fireworks.
Lilly with my chocolate covered strawberries.
Snap, hubby enjoying dessert!
Are you wondering what I am holding in the left corner?
It's my all american little guy! Yup, that is a american flag bandana on his head! ;)
Oh, and I have to show you what else he was sporting!
THESE cute flip flops! (got those at old navy for $3.00 bucks! ;)
After Preston fell asleep, I was finally able to dig into the dessert's.
YummY!
And while I was getting seconds and thirds, Taylor grabbed the camera and took these shots. Pretty amazing, if you ask me! (fyi, I didn't fotoshop any of those!)
Little Josh (look at those eyes!)
His big brother Aden
Cute little Tessa enjoying jello!
Us all, hanging out!
left to right: Jackie, Susan, Michelle, Gina, Preston & me!
bottom: Jenn and Reina
Of course I had to take a picture of these adorable girls!
Oh, those silly girls...
Plasma car fun! Sophia and Lilly
Corbin and Taylor
The darker it got, the more excited the kids got. Because this mean't fireworks!
My sweet friend Susan and her adorable daughter Kathlin!
Oh, and THE cutest couple ever! Viv and Toby. (is that one lucky dog, or what?;)
And after the spectacular fire works we all got together and took one more group picture. (click to see big!)
WOW, look at all those happy faces! Thanks to all who made our 4th so special. ;)

As I mentioned before, Lilly and her dance group were able to perform on more time their blue jay dance at the San Diego Country Fair. We were really looking forward to it. The fair is always such a fun family outing. The Dance studio provided Lilly with FREE admission and FREE Parking. Taylor got in for FREE by filling out a reading log and getting that signed off by his teacher. So all we had to get was one ticket for Jason, which he picked up at Albertson's at a reduced price! Can't beat that! ;)
We got to the fairgrounds around noon and had to wait till it was their turn to go on stage.
Lilly watching other dancers perform.
I am so glad that I took this picture. It is the only one I have from Ms. Christian, Lilly's dance teacher. She is such a wonderful and dedicated teacher. Here she is practicing one last time with the girls. Cute, huh?
The girls backstage!
Wonder what they are talking about?
Then it was finally time to go on stage.
End pose: Ta-da!!!!
One more close up picture of the adorable little dancers.
Are these four cute or what?
Check out the VIDEO Jason took! ;)
After their performance Lilly changed and we were off to having more fun!
The choices were so overwhelming that the kids went for a a hot dog and corn dog.
After we ate we walked around and when Lilly saw these "foot" massages she told us that her feet are hurting from all that dancing and that she needed a massage!
Since they had them on every single corner and the cost was just $0.25 we let them do those a couple times.
They LOVED it! ;)
Bumper car was a must!
Can you tell I lOVED it! haha!
Another kid friendly ride: The ferry go around!
We also enjoyed some free activities at the fair.
The petting zoo.
The grocery store was a huge hit with the kids.
First they had to pick a cart and then they got a grocery list which they had to find the items on the list.
At the check out they even got a coupon for a FREE apple or banana! How cool!
So after a long fun filled day we headed back home. We all were exhausted and had a good night sleep! (Preston slept seven hours that night!;)
See ya next year SDCF!

A few weeks ago we finally got the chance to visit the new children's museum doun town. It was so much fun. Besides sharing all these pictures I also wanted to let you in on a insider tip! EVERY 2nd Sunday of the month the museum is FREE, sponsored by TARGET! YUP, is usually costs about $12 a person. What a deal! ;)
We thought it would be super busy because everyone got in for free, but it really wasn't. Since the museum is so big there were barely any big crowds.
When you walk into the museum you are greeted by these cool rides.
Rock climbing
This was one cool thing. The Porta-Party!
When you go inside, music is playing and the disco ball was just to cool.
Preston and me had to try. It was too funny seeing Preston's expression.
When you step into the Rain house you can enjoy the calming sounds of rain noise!
This was actually the first time without a stroller for us. It worked out great. Preston loved sitting in the sling.
The Pillow Fight Room!
We waited in line for this the longest. But we know it would be well worth it. The kids loved it! Thanks babe for snapping these shots. I had to leave since Preston had to nurse!
Bubbles
Puzzles
Cool light room with music playing, kids loved running around in there.
"hello!"
Taylor was here!
One of the coolest ideas ever!
The museum provided paint and brushes, the rest is up to the kids.....!
Of course this was one messy project! (fyi: paint was washable ;)
The clay station was another huge hit. We watched the kids make some beautiful creations.
Craft station
Relaxing and having fun!
Taylor pretends to be a turtle!
Of course Lilly had to copy him with her mini shell! haha
Last picture of us before we left the museum. Even Preston was tired after all the fun! ;)
We ended the day by grabbing lunch and watched a Padres game at the stadium.

The kids and I started our day by getting up early while Jason slept in. We went downstairs to prepare breakfast. One the menu was scrambled eggs, fruit and of course my German bread which I baked the night before. Then we surprised Jason with a breakfast in bed. Hey, anything for the BEST DADDY in the World!
Can you tell he just woke up? hehe
The kids coudn't wait to give daddy their pictures and cards they made.
And my gift was this onsie I made.
I saw a simular design on etsy and thought I could make that too. I loved the way it turned out! What do you think?
One more, because he is just so darn CUTE! ;)
In the afternoon we all headed to Lake Poway to meet friends for food, games and fellowship.
Thanks Jenn for sending me this family picture.
It was one beautiful day and after lunch the kids got to fish a bit.
Then Daddy took them on a boat trip!
This was something the kids were so looking forward too.
I stayed behind with Preston and enjoyed more fellowship.
One more shot of Reina (who is 9 months preggo!), Preston and me.
Another pregnant beauty! Jenn with Preston
One happy kid!
After the kids got back from their boat ride they enjoyed playing soccer.
Look who lost a shoe! ;)
Guys fellowshipping
Jason bonding! ;)
Corbin and Lilly playing ball!
playing football!
Lilly, Gracy and Corbin. (oh my goodness look at his cute smile!)
Taylor and his buddy Corbin
Of course the "big" kids had to play too. This was one fun Football game to watch. All the dads got really into it!
Dads huddeling and talking about strategy! ;)
Auntie Viv, Lil, Abby
What's a foot ball game without cheering?
Lilly absolutly LOVES Auntie V's dog!
And the last picture of the day was this one. All the dads and kiddos gathered together. I am so glad that Jason had a great Father's Day. He sure deserves it! ;)
